Can I change my PIN and password?

If you know your existing PIN (used for additional Bankline services, not your smartcard PIN) and password but you want to change them, just follow these steps:

  1. Start by logging in using your existing details. You'll be prompted to scan a QR code using your smartcard reader
  2. On the next page, which confirms your identity and the last time and date you logged in, select the link 'Change PIN/Password'
  3. Enter your new PIN in the first box, then again in the second box to confirm (used for additional Bankline services, not your smartcard PIN)
  4. Enter your new password in the next box, then once again to confirm
  5. Select 'Next' to continue.

Choose a PIN and password that's secure, but one you'll remember. You can check out our rules for setting a new PIN and password.
