I'm being asked to enter an activation code, but I don't have one, what should I do?

We email you a 10-digit activation code when it's your first time logging in, or when you've requested a reset. If you've ordered an activation code using the 'request an activation code' link it'll take up to 30 minutes to arrive.

If you can't find this in your inbox, it's worth checking your junk folder. If it's not there, you'll need to speak to your Bankline administrator to request a new one.

Once you have your activation code, follow these steps to log in:

  1. Go to the log in page and enter your Customer ID and User ID, then press 'Continue' 
  2. Enter the first five digits of your activation code into the first of the two boxes and the last five digits into the second box
  3. You'll be asked to scan a QR code using your smartcard reader. For help with this visit How do I authorise with my smartcard and QR card reader
  4. You'll be asked to set a personal PIN and password.
