From when will I have to log in with my smartcard?
We’re now in the final phase of introducing QR card readers to Bankline users.
By the end of March, we’ll be removing the option to access Bankline using a partial PIN and password. From then on, all Bankline users will have to use their QR card reader and smartcard to log in.
Depending on where you’re up to, here’s what you need to do:
- If you’re already using your smartcard and QR reader to log on, continue to do so, you don’t need to do anything else
- If you’ve received your new QR card reader but haven’t used it yet, please start using it now
- If you haven’t received a QR reader yet, your Bankline administrator can order one for you
- If you don’t have a smartcard, your Bankline administrator can order one for you

What do the new QR log in screens look like?
It’s important to start using your new QR reader as soon as possible so your access to Bankline isn’t interrupted. All Bankline users will be switched over by the end of March.
