Does approval need to be removed before a payment can be edited or cancelled?

A:

If a payment has a status of 'Awaiting second authorisation', 'Future dated', or 'Awaiting release' you'll need to clear the authorisation on the payment before you're able to edit or cancel it.

To do this, when viewing the payment select 'Clear authorisation', you'll need a Smartcard and reader to do this and then you'll be able to select 'Edit payment details'.
