What is the purpose of rejected and expired payment alerts?

A:

They should help avoid situations where the rejection / expiry has been missed and you then receive a query from the beneficiary several days later. By prompting you to check the details in Bankline, you’ll be able to fix the issue and attempt the payments again.

For expired payments, you’ll receive one alert the morning after they’ve expired, showing the number of payments.

For rejected payments, you’ll receive an alert for each payment at the time they’re rejected.
