Immediate payment (IPAY)

Payment release times- when the bank will attempt to send the payment to the beneficiary's bank.

All times are based on sufficient funds being available on the account the payments are being made from.

Next-day Faster payment (NPAY)

Overnight from 02:00 in most cases, for payments authorised before 18:00

After 08:00 on the day they are due to arrive if they are:

  • authorised after 18:00

or

  • authorised on a non-working day

or

  • due to arrive on a non-working day
Future-dated Faster payment (FPAY)

Overnight from 02:00 in most cases.

After 08:00 on the day they are due to arrive if they are:

  • authorised any time after 18:00 on Friday to arrive Monday*

or

  • due to arrive on a non-working day

Note: If you do not authorise your payment until the day before it is due to arrive the release time for a Next-day payment (NPAY) will apply.
