What are the rules for editing submitted payments?
A:
To edit a payment when the status is 'Incomplete' or 'Awaiting authorisation' select the payment and select 'Edit payment details'.
To edit a payment when the status is 'Awaiting second authorisation', 'Future dated', or 'Awaiting release' select 'Clear authorisation' - you'll need a Smartcard and reader to do this. Then select 'Edit payment details'.
You can't edit a payment when the status is 'Accepted', 'Held Checking Funds', 'Processing', 'Cancelled' or 'Rejected'.
Although it's possible to edit a payment with an 'Expired' status we don't recommended editing these, as any changes you make may not be processed.
